September 23, 2010 — Crystal Commemoratives Campaign raises $280,000 in pledges to date
An excellent school depends upon resources to offer students the best possible preparation for their futures. One way to help out is to purchase a Crystal Commemorative – a unique, individually crafted, etched and beveled glass panel, permanently and invisibly bonded to the windows in the connecting hallway between the school and the gymnasium. May 14, 2010 — The 2010 Kevin T. Neff Scholarship is Awarded to Kevin Dziewisz

April 1, 2010 — SHPF Announces Donations/Gifts for First Quarter of 2010

February 4, 2010 — Legacy Gift from the Ralph L. Bernard Trust
The St. Hilary Parish Foundation is truly grateful for the very kind and generous bequest or $150,000 from the Ralph L. Bernard Trust. The Ralph L. and Florence A. Bernard Endowed Scholarship Fund has been established to be used for tuition assistance and/or scholarship for students who may not otherwise be able to afford to attend St. Hilary School.

January 15, 2010 — Foundation Donations up for 2009
We are very grateful for the many thoughtful and generous donors who contributed a total of $191,132.69 to the Foundation in 2009. Donations for 2009 were up $58,754.22 from 2008! Thank you for your support and commitment to the Foundation. With the donations of $163,950 from January 1, 2010 through February 3, 2010 the Foundation has raised $1,064,796.46 in donations since October 2003 when Diane Sarkis was hired as Development Director for the Foundation.

June 1, 2009 — SHPF Announces Distributions for First Quarter of 2009
The St. Hilary Parish Foundation Board of Trustees has approved a grant of $43,761.43 to be distributed from the Unrestricted Endowment Fund. The following distributions have been made from the 2009-2010 Unrestricted Endowment Fund Grant in the first half of 2009:

  • Heating pumps for Church — $13,357
  • School re-carpeting and replacement of vinyl floor in 3 classrooms — $9,331

The following distributions were made from designated funds in the first quarter of 2009:

  • Hearing devices for Church — $2,059
  • Parent Evening for Grades 5–8 — $175
  • LifeWorks Program (Choose Life Program) — $540

May 12, 2009 — Grandparents’ Day a Hit!
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the first ever St. Hilary School Grandparents’ Day, sponsored by the Foundation, on May 11, 2009. More than 500 grandparents attended, creating a memorable event enjoyed by all. The day included breakfast, prayer service, visiting time and school tours.
